Another weekend at clearlake with blue bird skys. Coleman going in blind this weekend not having time pre-fishing cause of lake Mead tourney being so close together. Mornings 62 to 64 degrees with Clarity 3 to 4 ft. Micheal Coleman drew Mike Wright Pro for day one. They ran south using both guys water putting together 26 pounds. With Mikes spots he found in the past that worked this time if year. Helped out both anglers very well. throwing drop shot and LV yoyoing from shallow to deep. Drop shot working best letting sit for long periods of time dead sticking large mouth bass. Coleman said it was easy to hold our spots with calm wind all day. Day two Coleman drew Johnathan Daughtery starting at the south end of the lake scrathing a small limit. Both anglers desited conditions have changed and to run south looking for bed fish they found and caught. Johnathon caught two great solid keepers on his water. couling out their two smaller fish in the last hour of the day. Coleman also found and caught two bed fish which helped out there bag for both anglers. Bringing to the scale 12.13. Helping Coleman busting him into 2nd place AOY. Also 2nd place big fish AKA BIGOLPIG with 9th over all out of both days. THe keys he found that helped mostly this weekend was pre spooning fish back in creeks, cover etc. Micheal Coleman would like to thank all sponsers Rb Bass, Bigolpig appearl,Bass Angler Magazine, catching Concepts pro,Angler Hub,THCG,river2sea,Pro Cure,Tackleboxlabels.com and EVO Reels.
